In our throw away society, it is unusual to see time and effort put into restoring very old things. But at Davis Marina, we like our old things and making them new again.
New Slipway Cradle Takes Shape
The small slipway cradle was nearly 60 years old and in need of replacement. The new cradle is made from fibreglass beams and is presently being put together - just like a very big Meccano set. Such fun!!
