All shells etc are scraped from the under water hull and the boat is jetblast. The topside's are given a light jetblast. Strainers are removed, cleaned antifouled and refitted. Running gear is checked for wear.
The fees shown in the table below are for boats in reasonable or good condition and of normal proportions and design. Additional cleaning fees may apply for boats that have been left too long since the last antifoul.

The prices include:

  • towing from Davis Marina moorings and Runaround Club members moorings to the Marina
  • slipping
  • jetblast
  • the antifouling paint used
  • launching
  • slip rental

Antifouls are applied by a roller with a medium length nap. For a an additional fee a foam roller may be used to give racing yachts a smooth finish.
Coats
  • 1 1/2 coats means that 1 coat is applied to the entire hull and an extra coat is applied to the water line and leading edges.
  • 2 1/2 coats means that 2 coats are applied to the entire hull and an extra coat is applied to the water line and leading edges

Note: Most Devoe paints will need a coat of Devoe-prep and an additional coat.

Antifoul is sprayed on rather than brushed at hard to reach places to assure an even coating of AF.

There are several types of antifouling products on the market. These paint types are divided into soft, medium and hard copper or non-copper based antifouls

for different boat types.
